Here are some great ways to help!

LEGAL HELP: Limited resources exist to help families through the complex asylum process. If you are a lawyer, know a lawyer, or are someone with expertise in this area, call us. Even if you are not an immigration lawyer, you can help.


TRANSPORTATION: Sign up to drive (mostly in the Yarmouth area). https://bit.ly/YRides

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING: We have English classes at the Freeport Community Center, but we the families need more English conversation practice.


HOUSING: Have a house or apartment to rent? We need solutions for these families with students in the Yarmouth Schools


TECHNOLOGY: Have a good old phone, tablet or computer?


CLOTHING: Donate to the Freeport Community Thrift Shop; used by the families fcsmaine.org/thrift-shop/.


FURNITURE: Furniture Friends donated all the furniture for the families; they need donations and volunteers furniturefriends.org


FOOD: Donate food to the Yarmouth Food Pantry ycan.info/food-support/
